Role Purpose
To carry out inflight safety and security procedures;
To
conduct in-flight and beverage sales and duty free sales;
To work as a team
to deliver customer services activities to fulfill the passengers' needs and
enquiries.
The Ideal Candidate
Japanese National or Special Permanent Resident Certificate Holder
Minimum age of 18
University
graduate or above
Minimum arm-reach of 208cm on tiptoe
Physical fitness to
pass the pre-employment medical assessment
Fluent in speaking and reading English and Japanese. A third language is preferable;
Have obtained one of the following valid English
Proficiency qualifications:
- TOEIC score of 325 for both reading and
listening or above;
- TOEFL score 60 or above;
- IELTS 5.0 or above;
Previous experience in an
airline, hospitality or service industry would be advantageous
COVID-19
Vaccination Certificate proof
No criminal record, meeting the relevant
requirements of aircrew background checks
Please note that with effect from 1 June 2022 onwards, all HK Express employees and contractors who work in Cathay House and all other Cathay Group Company premises in Hong Kong must have received a third dose of COVID 19 vaccine. Being tested regularly for COVID-19 is not an option. Consideration will be given to those who are unable to get vaccinated for valid medical reasons.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
・Minimum High School certification or any higher education
・Fluent English verbal and written comprehension; another language is an additional benefit
・Must be at least 21 years old
・Minimum height is 161 cm
・No tattoos or body piercing (exception for one earring in the lower lobe of each ear for females only) that would be visible whilst wearing the Etihad uniform (bandages and cosmetic coverings are not permitted)
・No criminal record
・Excellent personal presentation, style and image
・Willing to serve alcohol, including during the holy month of Ramadan
・Willing to comply with UAE and GCAA visa requirements
・Confident in water and be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device
