Flight Attendant (Cabin Crew Member) Base Tokyo

Flight Attendant is a fascinating, versatile and responsible profession. During your work on board you will be challenged by using your flexibility and creativity when delivering the high SWISS standard, fulfilling passenger needs and encountering difficult situations at times. Each flight promises an array of experiences: Caring for our international clientele and working in changing teams.

Your Duties

Assuring and applying the safety and security regulations on board

Caring for international guests on board

Independent flight preparations

Preparing the aeroplane cabin

Organising the workflow on aeroplane galleys

Conducting the meal and beverage service

Carrying out the sales on board

Requirements

Japanese nationality

Age between 20 and 25 years

Minimum height: 158 cm

Normal weight

Mother tongue Japanese; very good English skills

German and French are an advantage

College or university degree (preferred)

Excellent health and good eyesight ability

Good swimming skills

No visible tattoos

Willingness to serve customers

Charming, friendly, team-orientated personality

Well-groomed appearance and impeccable manners

Flexibility (e.g. irregular working schedule)

Ability to work under pressure

Job Description. 

Accountable to the aircraft commander.
Responsible to carry out the commander's instructions and assist him in the safe operation of the aircraft.
Report any safety irregularities to the commander.
Carry out pre-flight duties including checking the safety equipments on-board, ensuring the interior of the aircraft is clean, tidy and in an orderly manner.
Educate passengers on the aircraft's safety procedures.
Attend to passenger's inquiries.
Perform sales on duty-free goods, merchandises and food & beverages.
Reassure passengers and ensure that they comply to safety procedures during emergency.
Ensure passengers disembark safely at the end of the flight.
